Hi,
I’m working a project that has to do with Jews in Mumbai, specifically Byculla area. I was wondering if you have a bibliography or particular sources for the information you’re sharing?
I would be really helpful!
Thanks!

Hi Daniel, I’m interested in your source for who started the first cotton mill — Albert or Jacob. I’m writing a piece about Indian Jews and the Sassoons’ contributions to Bombay, but the Stanley Jackson book seems to peg it as Jacob. Can you clarify? The history’s confusing. dianemehta@gmail.com

Hi Daniel,
Great article. I am researching Rachel Sassoon born in 1860 in Mumbai. Do you know whose daughter she was?
